Who are we

Our Story

Hi, We’re Robin and Kylen. We've been horse friends for thirty years. We grew up riding trails together in Northern California, competed on a vaulting team as kids, and spent our teens and twenties working at barns—grooming, mucking stalls, early mornings before school, all of it. We both kept horses through college and beyond, picking up working student jobs and barn gigs wherever we landed.

Life took us to different states for a while, but now we're back in the same place for the first time in twenty years. Our mares share a barn in Bend, Oregon and we get to ride together again.

That's the background we bring to this work. When you tell us show season is coming, we know what that means. When you mention your boarder group is getting out of hand, we've seen it before. You won't have to slow down and explain how barns run. We already know.

Why Solsis

The problem we solve

We started Solsis Equestrian because we saw the same story playing out at barn after barn: talented, dedicated horse people running themselves ragged trying to do everything. Training horses. Teaching lessons. Managing boarders. Ordering grain. And somewhere on that endless list: "update the website" and "post something on Facebook."

Those tasks always fall to the bottom. Not because they don't matter but because when you're choosing between fixing a fence and updating your lesson schedule online, the fence wins every time.

We built this business to take that weight off your shoulders. We handle the digital stuff so you can focus on the horses and the people who love them.
